Whitehorse, the Yukon's capital city, is a nice place to visit, but to experience the Yukon's true beauty you have to explore the wilderness. Cabin Fever Adventures has an extensive selection of day-trips which are shorter versions of our wilderness vacations. If you don't have time to spend a week in the wilds, but still want to get a taste of the great outdoors, check out our day-trips listed below. Much of the food we serve is organic and or produced in the Yukon. Vegetarian options are available, just let us know in advance. Furthermore, all of our day-trips include in the price, carbon offsets for the carbon dioxide emissions produced by transportation in your day-trip.
Please Note: Our day-trips are custom bookings and can be run for groups of two or
more people. We do not run these excursions daily, but rather they are
called "day-trips" because they are single-day experiences.
Our guides are
back-country wilderness professionals and don't lead the same day-trip
day-after-day, reciting the same old stale jokes. They may have
just arrived back after guiding a two-week sea kayaking expedition, or
might be flying out on a river trip tomorrow. Your guide will be
professional, interesting, and definitely excited to be experiencing
the wilderness with you. This is the Cabin Fever Adventures difference.
The best way to ensure that we will be able to run a day-trip for you is to book well in advance, but we may also be able to do it last-minute. If we can...... we will. Don't hesitate to call until 9:00 pm the day before you would like to go.
