Want
to explore the Yukon River or the stunning beauty of the Southern Lakes
District, without having to leave all the creature comforts
behind? Set to launch in summer 2010 is a full-line of wilderness
vacations supported by our “mothership”, The Yukon Rose.
The Yukon Rose
is a custom-built, 34-foot enclosed river and lake boat, with full head
room, onboard kitchen and the carrying capacity to bring large tents,
sleeping cots, and portable shower. Its large enclosed seating
area provides comfortable travel during less than ideal days. The Yukon Rose will ply the waters of the Yukon River and the Southern Lakes District. With room for eight guests and two crew, The Yukon Rose
takes our adventures comfortably into the back-country, while allowing
us to provide a much higher level of comfort than is expected in the
wilderness. The Rose will be used for sea kayaking, canoeing,
and fishing vacations starting in summer 2010, after final preparation
and test-runs this coming season. Pictured here while being
picked up from her original home in Fort Myers Florida, The Yukon Rose
is slated to undergo a major transformation in summer 2009, with
wrap-around railings, kayak racks, down-riggers, lexan glass enclosure,
and sound system. The Yukon Rose is powered by reliable and quite twin 4-stroke Honda outboard engines.
