Point Form Itinerary –Snake River
The Snake River is a classic northern canoeing expedition filled with solitude, whitewater, mountains, wildlife and adventure. From the moment the float plane takes off till the moment it picks you up two weeks later, this river will not disappoint. It is the perfect choice for a canoeist with intermediate whitewater skills who wants to take their love of canoeing beyond the ordinary into the realm of remote and spectacular.

Day 0:
- Pre-trip meeting at 8:30 pm in Whitehorse. Hotel not included but can be booked by Cabin Fever Adventures at your request
Day 1:
- 5-hour shuttle to Mayo float plane base
- Scenic flight to Duo Lakes
- Camp on Duo Lakes
Day 2:
- Paddle the Upper Canyons section of the Snake River
Day 3:
- Lay-over day for rest and a day-hike into the surrounding mountains
Day 4:
- Paddle through the Bonnet Plume Mountains
Day 5-6:
- Continue whitewater canoeing down the Snake River
Day 7:
- Paddle Through the Middle Canyon section of the Snake River
Day 8:
- Layover day to hike in the Mountains
Day 9-10:
- Paddle through The Splits region of the Snake River
Day 11:
- Paddle on to the Peel River and camp at our float plane pick-up location
Day 12:
- Scenic return flight to Mayo float plane base
- 5-hour shuttle drive to Whitehorse
