Point Form Itinerary –Teslin River Cedar Canoe Voyage

Day 0:
- Pre-trip meeting in Whitehorse at 8:30 pm. Hotel not included.
Day 1:
- Depart Whitehorse and travel 1.5 hours by vehicle to Johnson’s Crossing
- Launch Canoes paddling north and camp on the shores of the Teslin River
Day 2-3:
- Paddling and camping our way north on the Teslin River
Day 4-8:
- Join the Yukon River and paddle and camp our way north to Carmacks
Day 8:
- Arrive by canoe to the town of Carmacks
- Barbeque lunch
- Either continue on for the second half of the canoe trip or depart and return to Whitehorse (transportation provided)
- Depart by canoe heading north on the Yukon River
Day 9-15:
- Paddle and camp our way north on the Yukon River towards Dawson City passing such famous locations as the Five Finger Rapids, (not as scary as it sounds) Fort Selkirk, Yukon Field Force Site, and Steward Island Museum, and then finally Dawson itself.
- Arrive in Dawson on Day 15 by mid morning. Sightseeing and depart Dawson City by mid-afteroon
- Arrive in Whitehorse by 10:00 pm after dinner on the road (not included)
