This course has been specifically designed for occupational & industry workers who may find themselves operating in remote locales. away. This course expands on our wilderness first-aid course by focusing on situations that
are unique to field worker environments with greater emphasis on:
• motorized vehicle accidents and extrication • trauma • radio communications • assisting medical professionals • managing pre-existing medical problems in field settings • treatment of toxin exposure in remote locales • consideration of government and industrial guidelines for providing first-aid in remote workplaces
This course includes certification in wilderness first-aid, standard first-aid, and CPR.
